About Attuned Autie
Attuned Autie began as a place to share my thoughts and reflections after being late-identified autistic. It was a space to process the unlearning of neuronormativity. Over time, it’s grown into more of an evolving hub where I explore the intersection of neurodivergence and trauma. Here, I create resources specifically for neurodivergent trauma survivors navigating recovery, drawing from my own lived experience as a neurodivergent trauma survivor.

About Melanie
I'm the founder of Attuned Autie. I’m here for the trauma survivors who’ve tried everything and still feel unseen. The neurodivergent folk whose sensitive nervous systems need a gentler, more tailored approach to healing.

I’m AuDHD, a System, Queer, and carrying my own major dose of CPTSD. I know firsthand how much of a mindfuck trauma recovery can be and how isolating it feels when no one seems to truly get it.

I’m a qualified and registered community services worker with over six years of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I’ve supported survivors of sexual assault, facilitated group programs, and contributed to various community-wide initiatives. One of my key roles was as a community engagement specialist with inTune Pathways by Kristy Forbes, where I helped promote a positive autistic identity and culture.
My work is grounded in helping neurodivergent trauma survivors gently unlearn the conditioning that’s kept them stuck. With a deep passion for trauma recovery, I support folks in rebuilding trust in their body and approaching their trauma with the compassion they deserve.
