About Melanie
Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am incredibly passionate about creating resources for neurodivergent trauma survivors and their support systems. I understand how difficult the path to healing truly is as a neurodivergent trauma survivor. I am a late-discovered autistic, ADHD system who was raised in Organised Extreme Abuse (OEA) and family violence.
I have worked in community services for eight years, supporting sexual assault survivors through community group programs, PDA families through inTune Pathways by Kristy Forbes and neurodivergent trauma survivors through my resources. My work is underpinned by my lived experience of both trauma recovery and neurodivergence. It is also informed by Intersectional Feminism, Mad Liberation, Anti-Racist, Weight Inclusive, Anti-Victim-Blaming, and Trauma-Informed practices.
With a deep commitment to accessible trauma recovery, I support folks to approach their trauma with the compassion they deserve while not pathologising their experiences.
