Sexual Assault Crisis Line
SACL is an after-hours crisis counselling line for people who have experienced both past and recent sexual assault.
SACL operates between 5pm on weeknights and 9am the next day, and throughout weekends and public holidays.

Queerspace offers Case Management and Counselling programs to support the safety, recovery, and wellbeing of individuals and families who have experienced family violence. Their Case Management program offers practical and emotional support. Their Counselling program provides individual and group therapy.

The Survivor Hub is a survivor-led organisation that provides support for sexual assault victims/survivors. They run meet-ups in person and online Australia-wide.

Left Write Hook
Left Write Hook is a research-informed 8-week boxing and writing workshop for adult survivors of child sexual abuse and gendered violence. The program gives survivors the chance to use non-contact boxing, together with writing, as a form of healing trauma.

Where can I go for free ongoing counselling?
If you were a victim of a crime (sexual or family violence) in Australia, you may be eligible for free counselling. If you experienced child sexual assault (CSA), you may be eligible for free counselling for your lifetime.

National Redress Scheme (closing in 2027)
The scheme is available to people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse. They offer redress payments and counselling to victims of institutional CSA.
CASA House
CASA (Centre Against Sexual Assault) provides specialist counselling support and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault. CASA House is in Victoria, however every state and territory in Australia has equivalent, state-funded specialist sexual assault services.
